IzzyMap goes beyond the rigid limitations of other, static video mapping tools because it offers interactive control of mapping properties, allowing for real-time manipulation of your content controlled by motion-tracking, audio analysis, and any other software or hardware that can be interfaced with your computer. Thanks to IzzyMap’s powerful and flexible design, slices and masking can be layered and composited within each instance of IzzyMap, and multiple instances of IzzyMap allow your mappings to be layered and combined in endless ways.
Because IzzyMap is an integral part of the video workflow in Isadora, its output can even become a source for further processing by using Virtual Stages and the Get Stage Image actor. This allows IzzyMap to become a powerful tool in compositing in creative ways as your interactively controlled mapping can be routed back into the program as a video source to create hypnotic feedback loops, complex fractals, and many more breath-taking visuals.
