Register Isadora

Required Information

The information required to register Isadora is sent to you via email after purchasing a license. It includes the following important information:

  • User Name (e.g., Isadora Duncan)
  • Serial Number (e.g., ISM-99999)
  • If you purchased a standard license, the password required to generate registration codes.
  • If you purchased a USB Key license, an six-line registration code that allows you to register the USB Key version of Isadora.

We strongly encourage you to print this email and keep it handy. You may urgently need this information if the unthinkable happens, and your computer is is lost, stolen or seriously malfunctions.

Instructions

To learn how to register Isadora, follow these instructions:

  • If you purchased a standard license, and your computer has Internet access, follow the instructions under Online Registration.
  • If you purchased a standard license, and your computer does not have Internet access, follow the instructions under Offline Registration.
  • If you purchased a USB Key license, follow the instructions under USB Key Registration.


Online Registration


If purchased a standard Isadora license, and the computer you wish to register is connected to the internet:

  1. Run Isadora by double-clicking its icon.
  2. Choose Edit > Register.
  3. Read the license agreement and click “Agree.” The registration dialog will appear.
  4. Enter the User Name, Password, and Serial Number, exactly as you received it in the email from TroikaTronix. Only enter the five numbers in the serial number, not the three letter prefix.
  5. Click “Generate Registration Code via Web Page.” Your browser will automatically open and generate a new registration code. Highlight the entire code and choose File > Copy.
  6. Go back to Isadora. Paste the registration code into the bottom field of Isadora’s registration dialog.
  7. Click “Register” and enjoy your copy of Isadora!


Offline Registration


If purchased a standard Isadora license, and the computer you wish to register does not have access to the internet:

  1. Run Isadora by double-clicking its icon.
  2. Choose Edit > Register.
  3. Read the license agreement and click “Agree.” The registration dialog will appear.
  4. In that dialog, find the eight-character Machine ID (e.g., 1234ABCD) and write it down
  5. Open the registration form for your platform:
  6. Enter User Name, Password, and Serial Number, exactly as you received it in the email from TroikaTronix, as well as the Machine ID you wrote down earlier.
  1. Click “Generate Registration Code.” Your browser will display the newly generated registration code in a new window.
  2. Select the entire registration code in the web page and choose Edit > Copy. Then paste it in a text document, and save the file on a transferable storage device like a USB memory stick. Head back to the offline computer, taking your storage device with you.
  3. Open the text document and copy the registration code. Then paste it into the bottom field of Isadora’s registration dialog. (You do not need to enter the other three fields.)
  4.  Click “Register” and enjoy your copy of Isadora!


USB Key Registration


If you purchased an Isadora USB Key License, you will need to register the USB key the first time you use Isadora on a new computer, or if you install a new version of Isadora on your existing computer.

Follow the instructions below to register the USB Key

  1. Download and install the drivers for the USB Key. (Available under “Related Downloads” on our downloads page.)
  2. Run Isadora by double-clicking its icon.
  3. Choose Edit > Register.
  4. Read the license agreement and click “Agree.” The USB Key registration dialog will appear.
  5. Open the email you received after you purchased your USB Key License. Copy the six-line registration code.
  6. Go back to Isadora, and paste the registration code into the Registration Code dialog box.
  7. Click “Register.” A dialog will appear asking you to restart Isadora.
  8. Choose File > Quit to quit Isadora.
  9. Run Isadora by double-clicking its icon and enjoy!
