Isadora USB Key
Users who have purchased a license may also purchase a USB Key that allows Isadora to run on any computer to which the key is attached. This is helpful for people who frequently need to to move from one computer to another.
Note that it can take up to three weeks to manufacture and deliver the USB key – especially to European destinations. So please take this into account when ordering.
For those who have already purchased Isadora, may order as many USB Keys as Isadora licenses you have already purchased. (For example, if you've purchased a two-seat license, you may purcahse up to two USB keys.)
If you have not yet purchased a license but would like to use Isadora with a USB key, you may place a single license and a single key on the same order. If you do this, TroikaTronix will send you a time-limited registration code, so that you can use the program until the USB key is delivered to you.
IMPORTANT: USB Key / Registration Code Policy
Once you purchase a USB Key, you will no longer be able to generate registration codes online via the standard license mechanism.
IMPORTANT: Don't Lose The Key!!!
If you lose your USB key, you will need to purchase a complete Isadora license before you can purchase a replacement key. While we understand that things like this can happen, this policy is very strict because we have no way to verify that the key is actually lost. So please, just be very careful with your key: It is worth the cost of Isadora + the cost of the key itself!
Using the USB Key
Here's how to use your USB key with Isadora.
- Download the HASP version of Isadora from the links on this page.
- Download the HASP drivers from the page at: http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp/enduser.aspx
- Mac users should download the "Mac OS X driver installer".
- Windows users should get the "HASP SRM Run-time GUI Installation "
- Run the HASP driver installer and follow the instructions.
- Insert the USB Key. Wait until you see the LED on the side of the key light up.
- Run Isadora and choose Edit > Registration. After accepting the license agreement, you'll see a dialog box requesting a code. Paste the code, which will be provided to you by TroikaTronix after you purchase the key, into the dialog box:
- Click register.
