The Core version of Isadora leverages the Mac OS X operating system by "adopting" all Core Image, Quartz Composer, and Core Audio plugins found within on your computer, making these modules available within Isadora. (This includes third party plugins, as long as they are installed in the standard locations.) The Core Video feature (Core Image + Quartz Composer plugins) costs US$ 25 per license; the Core Audio features cost an additional US$ 25 per license. You may purchase these upgrades when you order the Mac OS X Standard Version, or you may add them at a later time. Requires OS X 10.4 or greater |

What You Get When You Order
Isadora is only available as an online download. After purchasing an Isadora license, you will receive an email with information that allows you to generate a registration code from within the Isadora demo. After entering this information and registering online, you will be given a code to convert the demo into the fully enabled version. (The full registration code policy appears below.)
There is no option to receive Isadora on CD-ROM at this time.
Registration Code Policy
Isadora requires that you generate a registration code for the machine on which it is installed. After purchasing Isadora, you will be able to generate up to three registration codes per year per license purchased. In other words, each year, on the anniversary of your purchase, your registration code count will be reset to three. This takes into account the possibility that you will upgrade your computer, need to reformat your hard drive, etc. You can obtain a new registration code at any time from the our web site using the information supplied by TroikaTronix when you purchase Isadora.
Note that when purchasing a single-seat license for Isadora, the license agreement states that you are are entitled to install the program on one computer only. It is not our intention that you would use the three registration codes to install Isadora on multiple machines.
You can, however, install the demonstration version of the program on other machines to run your patches. Because only the save feature is disabled in the demo, you can run your patches without having to purchase another registration code. You just won't be able to save any changes you make to the patch.

There are discounts for purchasing mutiple copies, and discounts for faculty or enrolled students at qualified educational institutions or for small non-profits – a complete list of prices can be found on our secure online store.

Academic / Non-Profit Discounts
Please note that you must be pre-approved before you order at the academic / non-profit price. Please read the requirements below carefully. If you place an order without being approved, your will not receive your registration information until you have supplied the required information.
Requirements to Receive the Academic Discount
Qualified educational institutions, current faculty, and enrolled students can purchase Isadora at discounted prices. (Academic prices can be seen by visiting secure online store.)
Here are the requirements for receiving the academic discounts:
- Faculty or students will need to email a copy of their identification card, showing they teach or study at an academic institution. (Expired IDs will not be accepted!) Faculty members may alternatively supply us the URL of page on the institution's web site that identifies them as a faculty member.
- The contact email used when purchasing the program must be within the domain of the university or institution. For instance, if you are a faculty member at New York University, the contact email must end with nyu.edu.

Requirements to Receive the Non Profit/Registered Charity Discount
Non-profit organizations (or registered charities as their known in the UK) may also receive a discount if their annual budget is US$100,000 or less. A current financial statement is required to verify your budget.
